The closing event of the MDD Minds for Primary Care initiative was held on Monday, 24 March in Brussels, bringing together stakeholders from across the globe. The meeting marked the close of a two-year effort to improve the quality of care for major depressive disorder (MDD) in primary care, and to chart a path for future action.

MDD (major depressive disorder) Minds has officially launched its highly anticipated "Train the Trainer" (TtT) program, marking a significant step in its mission to improve mental health care across the globe.

Today we had the first meeting to onboard the Master Faculty of the MDD Minds project, who will guide the curriculum and the content design, development, and implementation.

In a resounding success, our online training course MDD Minds 101 has taken off! Within just three weeks of its launch, we're thrilled to announce that over 200 participants have eagerly registered. The enthusiasm and commitment we're witnessing bode well for the transformative journey ahead.

World Mental Health Day is a reminder of the importance of mental health care worldwide. Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) is a global concern, now recognized as a leading cause of disability across the globe. Shockingly, a significant percentage of those affected remain undiagnosed or undertreated.
